02.02.06 Press Release FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO STAND UP February 3, 2006, SALT LAKE CITY – After more than four years, of sitting back and listening to others take credit for one of Salt Lake City’s most beloved Olympic visual images, FUSION Imaging is standing up and setting the record straight. “For too long, we’ve been hearing Vision International and Ferrari Color say that they produced Cityscape – the massive building wraps adorning Salt Lake City’s skyline - but now we’re starting to see it in print. These companies are erroneously marketing themselves to national advertisers by using Cityscape as their claim to fame,” stated Kathy Boydstun, President, FUSION Imaging. Boydstun goes on to say, “We hear so much about the lack of integrity in business – from accounting to false claims and more. I just didn’t think we’d experience it to this level in our community.” The truth is that on November 14, 2001, the Salt Lake Organizing Committee (SLOC) revealed the Cityscape campaign, a series of 12 large-scale banners that were hung on 11 downtown buildings and at the University of Utah. The largest banner – 339 ft. tall by 158 ft, wide – was equivalent to 80 billboards. The organization points to an official letter signed by Mitt Romney identifying ProGraphix International (now FUSION Imaging) as the project manager and source for Cityscape. SLOC did not use Vision International or Ferrari Color (at that time Creative Color) for any part of the Cityscape building wrap project. FUSION Imaging is the 2004 merger of two large-format print industry leaders. The merging of ProGrafix International and Impact Imaging results in more than 25 years of industry expertise in graphic production; project consulting; installation; lighting and many other capabilities. Other notable projects include graphics and installation for the Worldwide Olympic Torch Relay for the 2004 Summer Games covering 32 cities in 28 countries in 40 days; the Nike LeBron James building signage, Apple iPod Nano campaign and national Unilever environmental campaign. The Corporate office is located just outside of Salt Lake City, Utah.
